BEAUTY-SPA MANAGER

RANDBURG, Gauteng - South Africa

Starting Date: A.S.A.P / 01 July 2024

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

  • Monday - Sunday
  • 07:00am - 18:00 shift applies + lunch break
  • 45 hours per week rotate

Reports to: Owner

REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:

  • R16,000 - R18,000 Gross per month
  • Personal commission earned on any treatments performed (only when absolutely operationally required)
  • Business Turnover Incentive

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Diploma in Spa / Beauty or Hair related field 
  2. Beauty Therapy / Cosmetology / Somatology and or Aesthetics
  3. City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP

EXPERIENCE:

  1. BONUS - Cruise Ship employment experience is highly preferred
  2. At least TWO years experience in a Managerial capacity
  3. Experience managing a team of at least 6 full time employees

ESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIRED:

  1. Computer literate and confident (ESP experience beneficial)
  2. Able to train employees on spa protocols and follow up on company brand trainings
  3. Able to lead and develop employees and services
  4. Knowledge of spa procedures and ability to perform them where operationally required
  5. Ability to focus attention on guest needs
  6. Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa
  7. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
  8. Knowledge of and ability to sell spa products
  9. Able to assist with ad-hoc duties in other departments of the property if operationally required by management
  10. Comfortable performing spa & beauty therapies when operationally / ad-hoc required
