They possess a deep grasp of the Carrier Landscape, integrating the necessary Carrier product for Carrier Supplier Management, commercial and technical solutions in support of NTT clients. They ensure their tailored solutions align with client needs, leveraging a profound understanding of the organization.This role focuses on efficiently designing, promoting, and positioning NTT's products and/or services in the market. The role entails identifying new commercially viable Carrier products or services and opportunities for enhancing existing ones.
The Senior Carrier Portfolio Manager plays a crucial role in providing insights and impact assessments to uphold Carrier framework governance and compliance.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Engage with Carrier Partners and Suppliers
- Liaise with Engineers, Consultants, Technical Architects, and Solution Architects to ensure solutions meet client requirements
- Achieve set product sales targets to meet financial goals
- Develop commercial models and oversee the portfolio's financial performance
- Deliver Carrier product training to client-facing staff
- Influence and guide the Sales team to successfully close deals involving products and services
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Analyze product data to identify trends and insights using internal and external sources
- Facilitate the transformation of knowledge and ideas into new or improved products, processes, and services
- Evaluate market trends associated with the product line
- Work closely with partner relationship managers
- Provide product knowledge support for client proposals
- Conduct RFI/RFP responses and bids, obtaining vendor product certification
- Recommend product enhancements and updates to explore new business opportunities
- Engage in the product development life cycle to understand the impact on end users
Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with the local and global carrier landscape
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis
- Commercial acumen relating to pricing strategies and financial management
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative work approach
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Comprehensive understanding of product management and service development life cycles
- Expertise in relevant legislative amendments and industry best practices
- Familiarity with sales strategies
- Ability to engage with C-level executives and participate in public speaking events
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Commerce, or related fields
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an ISP or carrier-based environment
- Track record of new product implementation
- Sales experience in Information Technology
