This position focuses on providing global system solutions and technologies for enterprise-wide business requirements within the Sustainability and Capital Projects domain, ensuring technical alignment with the functional operating model. It also supports the Solution Lead in maintaining adherence to best practices while concentrating on continuous system enhancements to optimize operational performance.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with various stakeholders across operations to gain a deep understanding of the operational technologies related to sustainability and capital projects.
  • Engaging with management, Business Process Custodian (BPC), and Regional Process Owners (RPOs) to identify continuous business improvement opportunities.
  • Focusing on continuous improvement rather than daily incidents.
  • Analyzing business requirements, translating them into a Business Requirements Document (BRD).
  • Assisting in developing Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals.
  • Effectively managing Incidents/Requests/Changes/Problems and Configuration requirements.
  • Identifying gaps in existing global/local business processes and ensuring optimization.
  • Participating in regional governance structures.
  • Overseeing quality assurance activities for the functional area such as regression testing and testing of change requests.
  • Collaborating with the Business Lead to manage requirements from third-party non-SAP suppliers.
  • Working with the Global Access and GRC team to ensure process optimization, regional compliance, and adherence to governance requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Adherence to all processes for incidents, requests, and changes.
  • Effective Service Level Management.
  • Ensuring vendors meet all agreed SLAs.
  • Compliance with all IM and policies, reporting on non-compliance matters.
  • Compliance with SOX, King IV, and other relevant governance requirements.
  • Full compliance with IM PMO processes.
  • Building and maintaining positive inter-departmental relationships.
  • Participating in Monthly Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Project Review Meetings.
  • Staff development through formal training as needed.
  • Delivering initiatives as per strategic roadmap expectations.
  • Timely completion of ad hoc requests.
  • Timely updates and actions on SysAid.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Relevant Technical/IT Degree or Diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in ESH and ESG processes or similar roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Sustainability landscape.
  • Proficiency in change management, system integration, and global experience in solution design.
  • Knowledge of relevant processes within the area of accountability.
