Duties include:
  • Must have a good understanding of both internal and external Parts Sales Service Workshop, Sales, Over the Counter operations and Panel.
    Must understand the full value chain workings of Parts, from ordering, receiving, stocking, sales, dispatch, logistics and invoicing.
  • Good leadership and team qualities and the required levels of EQ in managing and interacting with all stakeholders.
    Staff coaching and HR understanding
  • Warehousing
  • Perpetual stock counts
  • Quarterly stock counts
  • Purchases in terms of re-order categories and not increasing redundant stock value.
  • Strategy on disposing of dead stock not including OEM buybacks.
  • Backorders, stock adjustments, parts store security, binning and other standards, workshop counter, despatch and courier where required.
  • Stocking of parts, intercompany accounts recon
  • Parts department controls implementation & monitoring
  • Customer Care and weekly business retention visits to ensure parts growth & retention.
  • Marketing
Requirements:
  • Must have parts manager experience 5 years+ at a franchise dealership
  • Must have either Keyloop/CDK/Autoline /Drive/ Point-of-Sale experience with Parts
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of inventory monitoring principles
  • Warehouse Management
  • Reside on the East Rand/Ekurhuleni
