Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Annual Financial Statements for various entities
  • Prepare and complete annual financial statements for review, manage audit requirements
  • Assist with completing audit pack and other information provided to the auditors
  • Update AFS with auditor's remarks, distribute timeously to auditors for sign-off
  • Stay abreast of current changes in IFRS for SME's and relevant impact on financial reporting
  • Capture, process, allocate and validate financial transactions accurately for final year-end adjustments
  • Resolve general ledger reconciliation queries
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve queries and facilitate outcomes
  • Manage the team and portfolio of clients
  • Train team members when necessary

Requirements:

  • Must have completed SAICA traineeship
  • Comprehensive in International Financial Reporting Standards and IFRS for SME's
  • Experience in preparing financial statements, and working on Caseware/Caseview
  • Strong knowledge of Pastel, Xero, Advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Result and client driven, ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • Strong leader and team player
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
