The incumbent shall be accountable to perform the work as allocated that will pertain to one or more of the following SAP DB2 ZOS deploy and operate processes:
Perform preventative and re-active (2nd and 3rd level) database maintenance and database administration in line with SAP application support processes.
Deploy database changes and additions.Maintain run books for databases maintenance and administration.
Support database data backup and restore in cause of disaster recovery in accordance with the backup and restore regime. Qualifications BCom in Information Technology or BSC in Computer Science/EngineeringA formal qualification (preferably vendor certified) in the use and administration of SAP DB2 ZOS databasesExperience Required7 to10+ years experience in operation and administration of SAP DB2 ZOS databases, the SAP DB2 ZOS application and hosted applications requirementsExtensive knowledge and understanding of operational SAP DB2 ZOS databases and associated ZOS operating systems and a good understanding of the related banking business applications utilising SAP DB2 ZOS databases and associated toolsAdvanced proficiency in IBM ZOS Performance Monitoring toolsAdvanced business writing and reporting skillsDemonstration of Agile & SAFe methodologiesGood understanding of the current state of IT Infrastructure, specifically pertaining to SAP databases for banking applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
