We are currently recruiting for the position of
Internal Sales Administrator on behalf of one of our clients situated in the Johannesburg area.

The person will be responsible for all internal sales administration functions in a medium sized company, operating in the plastics industry.

  • Excellent administrative and time management skills.
  • Able to juggle a number of projects and activities, with meticulous organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer service and sales, to ensure the service provided to current and new customers are to a high standard.
  • Assist in the processing and invoicing of sales orders and to obtain feedback on a regular basis, manage customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee the day to day running of external orders and enquiries received, including logging sales orders, updating, amending, managing entries to reflect current status process of orders received.
  • Liaise with operations and logistics to ensure all orders are delivered on schedule.
  • Maintain a high level of customer relationships, ensure that our product & service offering is maximised to existing customers and new customers.
  • Assist with maintenance and further development of the sales and marketing plan.
  • Organise on a daily basis to ensure that all calls are properly logged ready for follow up, and that a weekly sales plan with priorities, goals and achievements can then be formulated.
  • Distributing orders to operations and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager on stock situation and orders received with regards to queries and new developments.
  • Creating month end transfer lists.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric.
  • 3+ years' work experience in an internal sales and customer service environment.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Has experience working with Syspro operating system or similar sales ordering processing system.

Disclaimer

Salary:
R25, R30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bryanston, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
