The definition of this role as the Architectural Project Process Planner / Manager is to support Architects with the management of complex design processes, coordinating and strategizing processes in complex projects globally.

  • This is NOT a designer role, and will NOT be involved in the construction phase of projects. They also do NOT deliver IT Software._

The role:


This position provides support to architectural practices to deliver a design management service across one or a series of projects.

You will be responsible for project delivery, supporting with project set-up and QA activities, being the key point of contact with the Architect, building relationships with clients, assisting to develop other team members and provide day-to-day guidance.


Responsibilities:

Carry out design management activities, which include:

  • Supporting the Architect in the administration of the project
  • Manage the interface between the design team and the client
  • Be responsible for progress reporting
  • Provide strategic advice where needed
  • Plan and structure the design process with the design team, to provide a collaborative output
  • Provide high quality of service and receive positive feedback from the Client
  • Preparation of documentation and consultancy services supporting architects on design competitions: Issue accurate, correct and quality documentation
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to engaging with the project team(s), following up on information exchanges and monitoring programme tasks
  • Ability to manage and multitask workload priorities
  • Being an ambassador for the Company

Requirements / Qualities:

  • A background in architecture, or some experience in architecture or design. _(However, please note this is a nondesign role)_
  • At least 5 years experience in architecture or design, with a good understanding of the design processes
  • A professional individual who can manage priorities and respond to pressure well
  • Must be comfortable presenting and interfacing with clients and have good communication skills
  • Understanding/knowledge of RIBA stages (OR similar) will be beneficial
  • Keen to learn, be proactive, considerate, tactful and a relationship builder
  • Strategic thinker with "big picture" perspective and commercial awareness
  • A positive attitude, a motivator and high attention to detail.

Salary:
