Synopsis:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Guide to lead and inspire our clients guiding team in the stunning Pafuri region of Kruger National Park.

If you're mature, responsible, and have a strong leadership ability coupled with exceptional guest relation skills, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire our guiding team, fostering pride and professionalism.
  • Ensure excellent guest experiences through effective communication and exceptional guiding skills.
  • Support research initiatives and mentor young guides, sharing knowledge and fostering growth.
  • Contribute to product development, including cycling trails, to enhance guest experiences.
  • Maintain high standards of guiding, safety, and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

  • FGASA Trails Guide (NQF4) or Professional Trails Guide qualification.
  • 5+ years of guiding experience, with Assistant or Head Guide experience preferred.
  • South African citizenship or valid working permit.
  • Valid PDP, First Aid, and ARH certificates.

Additional Information:

  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
  • Basic single accommodation provided in our staff village with an ensuite bathroom.
  • Accommodation during trails in dome tents at the trails camp.
  • Uniforms and meals provided.
  • Leave cycle options: 3 weeks on, 1 week off OR 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
  • Probation period: 3 months.
