An established, boutique company in the interior design and office furniture industry is looking for an Account Manager who would be responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients to ensure their consistent satisfaction and repeat business.


Job Specifications

Client Relationship Management:
The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This includes identifying their needs, providing solutions and ensuring their satisfaction with the company's products and services.

Sales and Business Development:

The Account Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with new and existing clients.

They are also responsible for achieving sales targets and ensuring that the company's revenue goals are met.

Project Management:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing client projects from start to finish.

This includes coordinating with internal teams such as design, production, and installation, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the client's satisfaction.


Product Knowledge:

The Account Manager is responsible for developing a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as keeping up to date with industry trends and changes.

They are also responsible for providing clients with information about the products and services offered by the company.

Communication:

The Account Manager is responsible for communicating with clients on a regular basis, including responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing updates on projects.

They are also responsible for communicating with internal teams to ensure that projects are progressing smoothly.

Reporting:
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate records of client interactions, sales, and project progress. They are also responsible for generating reports on sales performance, project status, and other key metrics.

Teamwork:

The Account Manager works closely with internal teams such as design, production, and installation to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

They are also responsible for collaborating with other Account Managers to share best practices and ensure that the company's overall goals are met.


Customer Service:

The Account Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients, including addressing concerns, resolving issues, and providing solutions to their needs.

They are also responsible for ensuring that clients are satisfied with the company's products and services.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (related field is preferred, e.g. business, marketing, or a related field
3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development
Knowledge of the interior design, furniture and architectural industry is preferred
