Introduction_

Our office in the Centurion/Midrand area is looking for an External Sales Executive. The company specialises in software development and supply chain services for the industrial, construction and mining industries. The main function of this position is to support the sales and management team to grow the business.

Duties and Responsibilities_

  • Identify, source, and pursue existing and new business opportunities
  • Represent the business at exhibitions, customer shows and events as required
  • Arrange and carry out customer visits and meetings
  • Prepare and present customer proposals, tenders, quotations and reports
  • Liaise with marketing team on existing and new marketing initiatives
  • Carry out customer training and information sessions
  • Liaise with other departments on possible solutions and proposals to grow the business
  • Compile weekly call plans and reports
  • Compile and maintain a comprehensive database of existing clients and opportunities
  • Compile Monthly report on existing and future sales
  • Prospect for potential Customers to increase business
  • Create and Maintain own Leads
  • Cold call as appropriate, and increase potential clients by growing, leveraging and maintaining your network
  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities
  • Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Conducts oneonone and group sales presentations
  • Responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reports

Desired experience and requirements_

  • 4 years sales experience in industrial, construction or mining industry
  • Must have a valid driver's licence and roadworthy vehicle
  • Must be willing to travel nationally on an ongoing basis
  • Must be willing to travel internationally if required
  • Must be computer literate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (conflict, influence, negotiation, relationship building, diversity)
  • Have a strong ability to function independently without supervision as well as part of a team
  • A good understanding of managing customer relationships
  • Proven record of using networking, prospecting and sales planning skills to grow revenue
  • Must be meticulous, and pay attention to detail

Job Types:

From R40,000.00 per month

  • High School (matric) (preferred)
