Duties and responsibilities:

To effectively manage the aftermarket activities

  • Ensure that divisional plans for the Aftermarket products and services are achieved.
  • Identifying staff training requirements and to coordinate training activities as required.
  • Ensure that adequate controls are in place to secure Company vehicles and other assets allocated to the aftermarket division.
  • Ensure that all work done by the service staff meet the requirements in accordance with the Companys Quality Management System.
  • Ensuring that Company work Instructions and procedures are developed, followed and implemented.
  • To ensure that staff comply with all Health and Safety requirements in the execution of their duties.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring that all activities are customer centric and value adding.
  • Ensure that WIP is managed by correctly allocating costs and invoicing work at the earliest opportunity whilst adhering to the Companys work instructions and procedures.

Required Skills and Capabilities

  • Proven Managerial skills.
  • The ability to maintain good Customer relationships.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • The ability to supervise the commercial functions of the division.

Required Experience

  • Experience in Customer Service.
  • Experience in managing similar business activities.
  • Experience in managing service staff.

Educational Qualifications
A Suitable Tertiary qualification or similar through experience and a valid drivers license is required.

  • To ensure an efficient and profitable department.
  • Meet the business strategy for the department.
  • To ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
