Role PurposeRequirements**:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communication, Information Systems, Risk & Compliance, Quality Management or Recognition of prior learning
  • Continuous process improvement methodology (advantageous)
  • Project Management (advantageous)

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 Years in a Operational Management role
  • 2 Years experience in Data analysis or Reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint
  • Experience in Medical Scheme Administration or Managed Care (Health Risk Management)

Duties & Responsibilities

INTERNAL PROCESS:

  • Submit scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly, Annual and adhoc Operational Reports, Scorecards and Dashboards to various stakeholders within the required service level agreements.
  • Develop and implement reporting and quality standards across Operations.
  • Oversee the compliance to reporting standards and protocols.
  • Ensure alignment between business/client goals and Reporting outputs.
  • Oversee the quality delivery of requirements and specifications that meet the business/client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with solution teams and a variety of endusers to ensure requirements compatibility and end user satisfaction.
  • Participate in the solution design process to make recommendations to create and enhance solutions that are innovative, repeatable and sustainable and solve complex business problems.
  • Participate in User Acceptance testing and guide users to ensure that the designed solution ultimately meets business requirements.
  • Collaborate with various business areas and teams to ensure integration and consistency of solutions across business.
  • Collaborate with functional areas to standardise, document, and formalise process measures, metrics and performance indicators.
  • Implement early warning systems to enable the proactive management of Contractual SLA compliance.
  • Develop SLA Risk Management monitoring and compliance processes in line with industry standards and frameworks.
  • Coordinate and manage our responses to SLA transgressions to the business and the client.
  • Monitor and track SLA transgression interventions.
  • Package and communicate operational insights to demonstrate the organisations value proposition to various stakeholders.
  • Manage Reporting related business projects.

CLIENT:

  • Provide authoritative expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed.
  • Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility.
  • Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.

People:

  • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders.

  • Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.
