Minimum:

  • 5+ years' experience in Data Architecture or as a Business Information Analyst
  • Hands on experience in AWS services
  • 7+ years of development experience with deep expertise in Java & REST services
  • Async programming, Java IDEs, IntelliJ IDEA, GIT tools (i.e., Atlassian Stash, GIT Command line)
  • Experience working in short sprints in an agile SCRUM team
  • Stakeholder relationship engagement and management
  • Organizing and leading technical people for delivery of outputs or objectives

Ideal:

  • 2 years or more experience in managing a team
  • People management agile product development lifecycle
  • Experience in the financial or banking sector

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational (Minimum)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Management or Information Technology
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification in Information Technology
  • Computer Science or Other

Knowledge

  • API Gateway, Lambdas, Kinesis
  • NoSQL and SQL Databases
  • Applicable regulatory requirements: CPA, POPI, FICA
