Project Management Office Coordinator

Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position
- Responsible for ensuring the PMO software system is updated and maintained.
- Responsible for assisting and guiding project managers with developing detailed project schedules.
- Setting projects up correctly on the system and in accordance with defined processes, procedures and templates.
- Focus on scheduling governance and improving on Earned Value tracking in project scheduling.
- Establish project documentation and ensure they are stored correctly.
- Manage project template version control.
- Assist with consolidating and driving project reporting in a consistent manner.
- Follow up on tasks and activities relating to projects and programmes where needed.
- Assist with streamlining project management processes.
- Drive certain project streams on big projects, reporting into the IT Programme Manager where required.
- Capture meeting minutes and distribute to team members and file for auditing purposes.
- Manage small/medium IT projects with the appetite to grow towards managing bigger projects.
- Assist with auditing project documentation compliance where required.
Formal Education
- An appropriate tertiary qualification. NQF Level
- Appropriate project management qualification. (PMP, or registration for PMP exam would be an advantage).
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management.
- Experience in complying with standards and procedures and maintaining them.
