German Speaking Travel Lifestyle Manager

A global travel and leisure company is looking for an experienced German speaking travel lifestyle manager who is passionate about the travel industry.

This position is a 40-hour work week with day / evening shifts.

Shifts are either Tuesday - Saturday / Sunday - Thursday ; between the hours of 7:00 - 22:00 SAT / with at least one late shifts per week = 13:00-22:00.

If based in Cape Town > Hybrid (min 40% office presence > twice a week)

Strict requirements:

  • Already residing in the SA and has the required paperwork that allows them to Live and work in SA.
  • Proven track record in leisure sales as well as worldwide itineraries
- minimum 3 yrs. experience in a Travel retail or Tour operator environment essential

  • Sound knowledge of Global Distribution System such as Amadeus / Sabre / Galileo (preferably Amadeus)
  • Someone that is a globetrotter in their personal capacity and shares a passion for travel (can speak from experience)
  • Hungry for commercial success
  • Energized to work in a team and share new ideas, improve processes and ways of working.
  • Enjoy working in an international environment
- strong communication skills and love to deliver excellent service and quality on a daily basis

  • Able to use their initiative and creativity to best meet the needs of our members
  • Energetic and motivated team player who enjoys the challenge of achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skill
  • High adaptability to a dynamic changing environment
  • An enthusiasm to work with an emphasis for detail and follow through as required. The highest customer service standards are expected and must be maintained at all times
  • Selfmotivation, committed and possess initiative & drive in the job
