What we do:

At Safety Gear Africa, we focus on distributing Oxygen Machines and other respiratory devices to patients and medical shops across the country and in our neighbouring countries.

We also sell Safety Masks, Disposable Wear and other medical items.

Location:
Grayston Square

Position type:
Full-time (Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with occasional emergency deliveries on a Saturday)

Salary:
R8000 - R10 000 Cost To Company

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.
  • Working with digital inventory systems.
  • Ensure the proper rotation of stock and monitor expiration dates.
  • Plan and coordinate deliveries using company vehicles.
  • Load and unload deliveries and ensure they are properly stored.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized and secure.
  • Manage and supervise a small team of warehouse assistants.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing inventory in a warehouse setting.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy packages.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency working with inventory management software.
  • Technical Knowledge is a big bonus as we would require this member to betrained on how to service and repair the oxygen machines.
