Stockroom Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Stockroom Controller to join our team at TFG Home Division. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise to our sales floors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide feedback to management regarding stock issues and movements
  • Drive the ultimate customer experience by ensuring accurate and timely stock replenishment
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing stock levels and rotations
  • Manage the receiving and dispatching of stock, ensuring all items are accurately processed and stored
  • Process stock within specified time frames, maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency
  • Facilitate the efficient rotation of stock from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Maintain world-class neatness and Housekeeping standards in the stockroom
  • Manage Shrinkage in line with company standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly

Requirements:

  • A Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, with a strong background in stockroom operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong administrative and prioritizing skills, with attention to detail and a customer-centric approach
