SEEKING:
HEAD OF KEY ACCOUNTS
The Head of Key Accounts is a critical role in our business whose main objective is to ensure our key account managers are providing VIP service to our strategic accounts, growing those accounts by delivering more value with Trade Shield.
This role requires excellent leadership of the key accounts team but also excellent collaboration with other teams, especially product, customer success and marketing.

The current team is newly formed with only three members but will grow to a full sized team over the next two years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management
- Manage the team of key account managers to deliver the revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals of the business
- Mentor, coach, train, and support your team members so that they thrive
- Manage poor performers back toward success
- Maintain a high standard of learning and knowledge gathering to share regularly with your team
Key Account Management
- You will also manage several of the largest key accounts
- As with your team, you will be expected to grow revenue and improve customer satisfaction on the accounts you commit to
Leadership
- Demonstrate our values, model them for your team and coach them to do the same
- Identify, analyse and motivate for important improvements across the business
- Participate actively in all key planning and review sessions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES (*critical):
- 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management
- 2 years in a leadership role (preferred)
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and Key Account Management best practices
- Exceptional problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex customer issues
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Experience working in a fastpaced startup environment (preferred)
