Your Role at

Exciting opportunity for a recently qualified CA(SA) to join the industry leader in Partnership Automation as a Financial Analyst. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) plays a vital role in guiding the decision-making process for Impact globally and serves as the analytical core of our finance team, offering insights, top-notch reporting, and backing business decisions. As part of Impact's financial forecasting, annual budgeting processes, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects, you will play a crucial role.

What you'll do:

  • Prepares financial and business analysis in areas like financial and expense performance, cost of sales, cash flow forecasting, and working capital
  • Prepares consolidated forecasts, budgets, and analyzes revenue, expense, capital expenditures trends Financial instruments accounting
  • Assist in updating the company's forecasting model monthly based on accounting systems data and adjusting expense and revenue forecasts according to actual business events
  • Keep track of performance indicators, identify trends and analyze unexpected variance causes, updating company dashboards and providing analysis
  • Create financial models and analysis to back strategic initiatives
  • Compile and present reports, graphs, and charts of developed data
  • Support special financial and business studies and collaborate with other departments in preparing analyses
  • Support in compiling and analyzing consolidated budgets and long-range plans
  • Prepare presentations for Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as necessary
  • Help functional area leaders in formulating their annual Expense and Capital budgets

Does this sound like you?

  • Newly qualified CA(SA) with Big Four audit firm experience (preferred)
  • Relevant experience in finance/audit/advisory/investment banking sectors (preferred)
  • B.Com/B.Sc Degree or equivalent financial qualification
  • Experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Problem-solving skills, highly analytical, results-driven, punctual, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, high-responsibility environment
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting at board level
  • Influencing and Negotiation abilities, adept at influencing various levels and driving successful management strategies assertively within a team
  • Relationship Management skills, capable of building effective relationships with a diverse group of business partners
  • Strong Communication Skills, demonstrating proficient listening, written, and oral communication abilities
  • Nice to have: Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA
