Qualifications, experience and requirements:

  • Appropriate post graduate degree (minimum: Honours degree), with a Pr.
Sci.
Nat Registration and/or Registered with EAPASA, or eligible for registration as an EAP with EAPASA.

  • Thorough understanding of South African environmental legislation and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in undertaking environmental authorisation processes;
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills (English) (however proficiency in Afrikaans in addition to English is advantageous);
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with meticulous record keeping ability;
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and ability to perform under pressure;
  • Ability to work across disciplines and across industries;
  • Liaising with clients, specialists, members of the public, as well as authorities;
  • Selfmotivated, with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently;
  • Strong values ethics and integrity;
  • Ancillary experience with ESG, Water Use Licenses and/or specialist expertise will be an advantage;
