JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day to day management of sales territory with specific reference to new accounts and existing accounts
  • Follow up on sale leads in a timely manner and ensure all customer queries are addressed in a timeously and effective manner, thus ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Strategically time managing your own diary in terms of journey planning, by arranging appointments with prospective new business salon owners, or 'cold' calling/prospecting in areas for development
  • Work with others in the team for opportunities to achieve territory monthly sales targets
  • Plan how to seek out and target those customers within the sales region and secure more new products being introduced
  • Competitive Intelligence reviewing, researching and analysing competitors in an endevours to ensure that the company remain a strong force in the market
  • Maintain daily contact with team; regularly attend company meetings, conferences, seminars and trade shows as required
  • Prepare detailed accurate reports of all visits made and on a timely basis. Maintain and update reports
  • Achieve the set targets in all given areas and customer sales performance
  • Managing all retailer/DC and other accounts with the focus on retention of current business and increasing product lines

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Formal qualifications in Hair Industry advantage
  • Proven track record of delivering Sales revenue via various methods

Experienced in SWOT, various marketing channel strategies, digital and social media, PR, events, manage staff, key accounts, new business development:

  • Experience of proposal writing and presentations with excellent written communication
  • Strong commercial skill including analyzing turnover, profit margins
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Sales pipeline management
  • Some knowledge of prospects, customers and market dynamics within the Hair and Beauty sector a distinct advantage
  • Willingness to travel ad hoc
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiating Skills.

Salary:
R23, R25,000.00 per month

Hair Industry: 4 years (preferred)

License/Certification:
- own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (required)

Willingness to travel:
