Co-ordinator

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Marketing, promoting, selling and upselling full range of business services
- Assisting with menu selection based on clients requests and requirements as well as number of pax
- Sending out quotations to clients, follow up and secure bookings
- Drawing up function sheet for client and operational team, noting the necessary information including number of pax, timing, menu and bar selection
- Ensure that proforma invoice is generated prior to event and that deposit / payment is received timeously
- Ensure that all function sheets / contracts are signed off by clients prior to events
- Ensure that the operation team are advised of the event and the function sheet is sent through to the operational team
- Follow up with client 48 hours prior to event / catering and reconfirm all details as per agreed function, make amendments as required and update operational team
- Assist the Executive Chef with typing of menus
- General administration / filing and management of documentation in the office.
- Any other adhoc duties as required daily
- Maintain excellent client relationships to ensure return and repeat business
Qualifications:
- Matric coupled with event and / or F&B certificate and / or diploma
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Fully computer literate MS Office Suite and Pastel
- Valid drivers License
- 4 years experience in a similar role
