Job Advert Summary:

PURPOSE:

  • To contribute to and implement a comprehensive digital and brand strategy aligned with our Sustainable Growth and Impact strategy, Corporate Affairs strategy and Exxaro's overall business objectives, which is focused on enhancing and managing brand visibility and reputation internally and externally across all platforms.
  • Responsible for leading brand design activities for all platforms and events (internal and external).
  • Responsible for the design and creatives of the organisation.
  • Responsible for protecting Exxaro's brand corporate identity and managing our creative agencies.
  • Develop and package creative content that supports internal and external events, campaigns, initiatives, and projects for a variety of communication channels and events.
  • Ensure that all digital content and communications are consistent with the brand identity.
  • Responsible for periodic brand health audits. Support PR and Media reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross
- functional teams internally and externally to provide guidance on relevant and suitable content materials.

MAJOR CHALLENGES:

  • Managing compliance with brand and corporate image across the organisation.
  • Managing competing project deadlines.
  • Keeping abreast of digital trends and rapidly evolving new technologies.
  • Ensuring maintenance and enhancement of Exxaro's reputation through digital and branding.

Minimum Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B Tech Graphic Design (Essential/Minimum or)
  • B Degree (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum)
  • Certificate First Line Management (Recommended/Desirable)

EXPERIENCE:

5 years Must have relevant experience in brand management, graphic and digital content creation. Strong design skills and proficiency in graphic design software are required (i.

Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, Sketch and/ Canva) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and stakeholder communication needs. Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and fresh ideas. Duties & Responsibilities:

Compliance, Governance and Assurance

  • Adhere to sound corporate governance principles and address discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and standards across all platforms and communications by conducting regular audits.
  • Monitor and drive compliance with risk, legal and regulatory requirements related to branding and digital communications.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on adherence to our brand corporate identity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the brand's presence remains compliant.
  • Implement measures to protect the brand's reputation and intellectual property rights.

Digital and Brand Management

  • Develop and maintain the company's brand identity and visual assets across all platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Align within the Corporate Affairs team and collaborate with the Investor Relations and Liaison team, other functions and Business Units (BUs) to ensure that all designs align with the overall brand strategy and project objectives.
  • Create engaging and impactful visual presentations, infographics, and other graphics to support and standardise internal and external communication (Presentations, workflows, leadership graphics, financial and strategic information)
  • Design and create visual content for communication channels and for key events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their communication needs and develop supporting creative or branding solutions.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, relevant software training and best practices to continuously improve the company's digital brand presence.
  • Assist in managing the company's digital assets, including images, videos, and other multimedia content, internally and externally.
