Core Skills and Experience:

  • Powerful soft skills good at collaborating, communicating, consulting, and naturally empathetic
  • Proven work experience as an online Community Manager (or a similar role)
  • Good knowledge of online marketing
  • Proficiency in Community or Membership platforms, LinkedIn, Podcast platforms, YouTube, Hootsuite or similar programs to efficiently manage community and social media postings and networks
  • Social Media experience
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPI's
  • Hands on experience with social media management
  • Excellent verbal, communication, and writing skills

Engage with the community - the main role is to keep a brand's community active, engaged, inspired, and growing.

Grow the community - you are part of team responsible for growing our audience. Through content, polls, contests, partnerships with influencers and ambassadors, and other initiatives, you will increase the number of community members.

Develop strategies for the community - as part of the marketing team, you will work with the digital marketing manager, the content head, the marketing director, and other colleagues to develop strategies to grow the company's customer base through community engagement.

Create content for the community - brainstorm and develop content for our community platform.

Track the community - you will test the engagement and marketing strategies using analytics tools to track key performance metrics, and glean vital member insights.

Salary:
R25, R35,000.00 per month
