As a
Project Co-ordinator you will assist with the rollout of new products in SSA regions.

The Project coordinator will be directed by the Project Manager and will be involved with project related work including follow ups with internal and external stakeholders (operators).

Definition of the project team for each project, assigning roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

  • Assist with monitoring and tracking progress on project plans by coordinating with stakeholders across different functional areas
  • Ensure quality execution of projects according to timeframes and that we have a strong reporting framework in place.
  • Regularly report on project progress, escalating issues/ risks to Project Manager and/or Head of PMO as necessary
  • Participate in project meetings and update the project planning activities.
  • Provide information and regular support to stakeholders related to project delivery, budget and scope
  • Developing indepth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes
  • Understanding formal escalation and review processes that will impact project outcome
  • Providing support and cover for Project Manager during holiday or other leave
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Keep up the morale of team members and build relationships with them to develop a strong working unit and supporting their impact on the success of a project.

Requirements:

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant qualification in Project Management
  • At least 1 years of working experience as a project coordinator
  • Some technical background will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of how the collaboration between Software Development, Testing, Business Analysts, and Project Management takes place in an agile work environment will be advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, ability to prioritize work efficiently
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Strong willingness to learn and make suggestions on how to continuously improve internal practices
  • Excellent clientfacing and internal written and verbal communication skills
