Key Purpose

  • Be part of a team that ensures that Discovery Insure meets its BBBEE Scorecard objectives in line with the company vision.
    Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to
  • Responsible for working with the relevant business unit executives to come up with the BBBEE Scorecard objectives and plan to meet them
  • Tracking BBBEE Scorecard performance against the set objectives and collaborating with the relevant teams to develop and implement tactics to mitigate any performance shortfalls
  • Cultivate a CSI culture that is aligned with the values and business culture of Discovery Insure
  • Implementation of strategic CSI projects in order to meet the strategy
  • Implementation of strategic enterprise development projects in order to meet the strategy
  • Manage operational relationship between Discovery Insure and beneficiaries of its technology through its CSI activities

Education and Experience

  • Project management (Advanced)
  • Conflict handling (Intermediate).
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders (written and verbal) (Intermediate).
  • Report writing (Intermediate).
  • Negotiating (Intermediate).
  • Analytical (Basic).
  • MS Office (Basic)
  • Project management practices and framework (Advanced).
  • BBBEE regulatory knowledge (Intermediate).
  • Procurement and/or enterprise development work experience (Intermediate).
  • CSI experience (Intermediate)

Required:

  • Matric (Essential).
  • A Post Grad qualification, other equivalent qualification (Essential)
  • 5 years' work experience analysing or managing risks in various projects (Essential)
