Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Network Engineer with extensive experience in wireless environments and a strong background in Mikrotik equipment. The ideal candidate will be Mikrotik certified and possess multiple years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage network solutions, particularly in Wi-Fi and wireless environments.
  • Configure and maintain Mikrotik routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Monitor network performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for various projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Mikrotik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) or higher certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Wi-Fi and wireless networks.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Mikrotik devices.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other networking equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices.
  • Familiarity with VoIP, VPN, and firewall configurations.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.
