This role forms part of the AVMS Product Team, which is accountable for product design, development, deployment and management of the Absa Vehicle Management Solutions (AVMS) product portfolio.
The team and role are responsible for the holistic lifecycle management, balanced scorecard and value propositions, including ongoing management and implementation of new and existing products within AVMS.

Key Accountabilities
Product Design and Development
Provide support in
- Design and development of new and existing products, ensuring that they are commercially viable product propositions spanning the product lifecycle.
- Driving innovation around the product development and management cycle.
- Preparation of business cases for new product developments.
- Manage marketing collateral
- Operational query resolution of aspects relating to the product portfolio.
- Ensuring adherence and an optimal and compliant control environment for the product portfolio.
- Responsible for managing the implementation of recommendations made to enhance risk management techniques internally.
- Responsibility for service upkeep and monitoring from third party product providers and monitors client experience
- Ensures service delivery is in line with SLA's.
- Drive interaction with all relevant Infrastructure areas across the business in addressing product

Finance
- Monitor financial performance of products.
- Assist in providing data to compile Medium term plans (MTP) and Short Term Plans (STP) budgets on an annual basis and track performance against these budgets.
- Understand financial impact of product development and marketing activities in order to align
Product Management
- Collaborates with the respective stakeholders in ensuring that product value propositions seamlessly integrate into relevant segment and sector value propositions to support and enable the acquisition and retention of customers in specific segments and sectors to support the targeted commercial and customer shapes.
- Coordination of activities relating to roll out of new products and product enhancements.
- Responsible for updates and change of product and process documentation.
- Provides exception reporting on rate and fee deviations and revenue leakage in maintaining key product performance indicators for the respective product portfolio
- Implementation of new product or changes to existing products into the business.
- To complete 100 % of contracted training and contribute to selfdevelopment to enhance your skills and marketability:
- Agree ownership of work as per Performance Development (PD) Plan and be accountable for own performance and development
- Ensure a PD plan is signed for PD calendar year and that the PD reviews are undertaken with team leader/manager in line with the PD calendar.
