Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on opportunities.

Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales prospects.

Responding to potential customers' inquiries and sending supplementary information.

Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.

Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.

Staying informed about competing products and services.

Upselling/cross-selling products and services.

Exploring and qualifying new customer and industry leads.

Perform all sales administration-related functions including processing quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders.

Schedule and follow-up on deliveries with the Logistics Team.

Assist in collection of POD's and liaise with finance to ensure invoicing is completed within the relevant period.

Work with the Sales Team to maintain and regularly update the monthly sales schedule.

Handling customer complaints and working with the relevant departments to resolve and report back to customers.

Grade 12 and a National Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or Chemical Engineering/Chemistry.

Highly computer literate on MS Office and knowledge of SAGE (advantageous).

Previous internal sales or customer services experience in the Chemical/Mining industries is essential.

Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
