Our client based in Cape Town is looking for an SDF to join their team.

This is a project-based position, and the remuneration will be paid based on the project duration and requirements of the project.


Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Business Qualification (NQF 5 or equivalent)
  • Registration as a Skills Development Facilitator must show proof / certification.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive (Essential)
  • Research, analyzing and organization skills requirement.
  • Report writing skills. Ability to compile and prepare reports on a weekly basis to Skills Development Practitioner
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Confident disposition, proactive and selfdriven
  • Wellpresented and wellspoken
  • Driver's license (Code 8)
  • Must have own vehicle.

Experience:

  • 5 years' experience as a Skills Development Facilitator
  • Facilitation: 5 years (required)
  • Proven track record of experience in grant submissions (Essential)
  • Must have experience in drafting, compiling, and submitting of WSP and ATR to 35 different SETAs.
  • Knowledge of B-BBEE legislation (Essential)
  • Knowledge of Employment Equity legislation (Essential)
  • Proof of previous Employment Equity Submission (Advantageous)

Key Performance Areas:

1. Skills Development - Annually
a. Conduct Skills Audits and report on needs analysis to client

b. Prepare, Compile and Submit WSP/ATR reports.

c. Develop and monitor Implementation Plan

d. Quality Control Plan

e. Develop, implement, and submit Workplace Skills Plan and ATR to various SETAs according to their requirements.

f. Conduct in-depth statistical analysis of organisational skills development and training trends

g. Facilitate and follow up with training provider.

2. Employment Equity - Annually
a. Conduct Workplace Audits

b. Design and Implement EE Strategies, policies, and procedures.

c. Develop EE Plans

d. Train Employees on EE Issues (Awareness)

e. Train and facilitate the EE committee meetings.

f. Monitor performance against the EE Plan

g. Align Demographic profile with Management Control

3. B-BBEE - Annually
a. Develop the Client's B-BBEE Strategic Plan

b. Determine Project budgets with client for B-BBEE

c. Monitor the implementation of the B-BBEE Strategic Plan

d. Notify all relevant stakeholders regarding changes to legislation and deviations to implementation plan.

Must be willing and able to travel to client premises across various provinces.

Must from time to time be willing and able to travel to Cape Town for company requirements.
