Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 3-6 months with potential to extend


Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking an Event Marketing Manager to work with the Events Lead and cross-functional teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of successful business-to-business events.

Impeccable organizational skills, a proactive approach, and strong teamwork are needed to contribute to delivering exceptional event experiences for their clients and attendees.


What you will do:

  • Assist in the logístical planning and coordination of events, including onsite support, catering, transportation, AV setup, and overall event setup.
  • Work closely with various internal teams (solutions/industry leads, sales, creative lab, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication channels with vendors, partners, and attendees to provide event details, respond to inquiries, and address concerns.
  • Assist in the creation and coordination of event materials such as agendas, presentations, signage, name badges, and promotional items.
  • Provide onsite support during events, ensuring smooth registration, guiding attendees, assisting speakers, and troubleshooting any unforeseen issues.
  • Work with Enablement team and analytics in data collection, registration, and attendee tracking using event management software.
  • Maintain accurate records of eventrelated data.
  • Assist in sourcing and coordinating services from vendors, suppliers, and partners, including negotiating contracts and managing timelines.
  • Assist in postevent activities, including gathering feedback from attendees, compiling event reports, and analyzing event data for insights.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and offer solutions to ensure the smooth execution of events.
  • Contribute ideas for enhancing event processes, attendee experiences, and overall event success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in marketing, communications or related.
  • Minimum of 35 years' experience in marketing and communications or related field with a focus on event marketing.
  • Experience in the technology industry and for a large, global organization is highly desirable.
  • Full suite of Microsoft office, skilled at PPT creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English including the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong organizational, program and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects.
  • Strong negotiation, influence, conflict management and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a virtual, problemsolving environment.
  • Able to work effectively, and at speed, across functional and geographic groups with mínimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting, either military or civilian.
  • Willingness to participate in meetings outside of regular business hours to accommodate other time zones.
