Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field (Advantageous)
  • At least 2+ years of experience in event planning and coordination (Essential)
  • Passion for community building and event planning
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and marketing techniques
  • Experience managing brand ambassadors and creating content for social media channels
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside of the box
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with project management software and social media management tools

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing PR strategies, event plans and marketing activations/ campaigns
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all Group & Dealer/ Brand events (from smallscale gatherings to largescale community events)
  • Responsible to manage the events calendar and create awareness of upcoming events
  • Develop relationships with schools and other community organisations to promote our brand and build a strong community network (increase brand awareness and drive engagement)
  • Seek opportunities for and leverage existing partnerships, sponsorships & advertising
  • Find synergies and establish connection initiatives between schools and brand ambassadors
  • Coordinate brand ambassadors' initiatives and leverage partnerships
  • Create and curate engaging social media content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our target audience for all marketing initiatives
  • Ensure Rola CI remains relevant and updated, related to any event or initiative (e.g., Rola signage, vehicle branding, partnership branding, sponsorship branding, marketing collateral, corporate and fleet events)
  • Management of CSR initiatives and events (in conjunction with Rola Cares team)
  • Monitor social media platforms for engagement and feedback from the community, and respond promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the alignment of marketing initiatives with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Manage budgets and track expenses related to events and community outreach activities
  • Analyse and report on the success of events and marketing initiatives, making recommendations for future improvements
