  • A wellknown chemical raw material company requires the above to manage large manufacturing key accounts within the personal care / pharma industries.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Tertiary qualification in chemistry or COSCHEM or related qual is advantageous.
  • Previous key accounts / sales experience working within the personal care / pharma chemical raw material manufacturing or related industries is essential.
  • Must have a good business acumen with good analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills is essential.
  • Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Developing and implementing a multiannual strategic plan concerning a key account and transforming it into an annual operation plan based upon the company strategy and customer expectations.
  • Developing and implementing key account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are on target.
  • Developing a transverse relationship with the customer and ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Implementing the sales strategy, accomplishing market objectives and meeting targets.
  • Establishing and achieving monthly and annual budgets, based on customer information and forecasts and preparing annual budgets for senior management.
  • Identify new business opportunities by leveraging the full potential of the company's product and services portfolio.
  • Managing and delivering on technical queries with regards to specialised existing and new products.
