Operative buy and Build Chief Financial Officer

Objective:

To lead and manage the financial aspects of the company's buy and build strategy, ensuring financial stability and growth through effective mergers and acquisitions.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
Guide the company's financial strategy, aligning it with the overall buy and build approach. Act as a key advisor to the CEO and board on financial implications of business decisions.

Mergers and Acquisitions:
Lead and manage all aspects of M&A activities. This includes identifying potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, negotiating terms, overseeing integration, and measuring post-acquisition performance.

Financial Management:
Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis. Ensure efficient capital allocation and manage cash flow to support acquisition strategies.

Risk Management:
Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks associated with M&A activities. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Stakeholder Management:
Communicate effectively with investors, board members, and other stakeholders. Provide clear and transparent financial reporting and insights.

Team Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing financial team. Mentor and develop team members to support the company's growth and acquisition plans.

Integration Management:
Ensure smooth financial integration of acquired companies, aligning processes, systems, and cultures to achieve synergy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CFO in a buy and build environment.
  • Strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in leading M&A activities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

Salary:
Up to R200,000.00 per month
