Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 (essential)
  • Degree or Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Sound financial acumen
  • Assists with monitoring occupancies and forecasts in line with set budget
  • Compiling of required reservation and financial reports
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • Operational experience within a highend property
  • Manage and handle Hotel reservations
  • Ensures that confirmations of bookings are accurately sent out within a 24 hour turnaround time
  • Follow up on provisional bookings
  • Action daily reservation traces
  • Weekly (and daily) yielding to optimize all revenue channels
  • Ensure that the guest ledger for outstanding balances is cleared within 7 days of an account being added
  • Ensures Proforma invoices are sent out in time to guests and agents
  • Manage the maintenance and control of payment procedures for all reservations
  • Daily filing of all written correspondence
