Position Overview
As an entry level position, the Operator Team Leader reports directly to Support Operation Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing leadership, supervision, coordination, and disciplinary management within the Command Center, while attending to technical support operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with stakeholders. This role presents an opportunity to leverage your expertise and play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of critical systems, ensuring prompt issue resolution, and fostering collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise command center operators, providing guidance and support for smooth operations and effective communication.
- Coordinate and oversee command center activities, ensuring adherence to established processes.
- Implement disciplinary actions as per company policies, addressing performance issues promptly.
- Monitor alerts, coordinate communication between teams, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Identify ongoing problems, investigate causes, and facilitate resolution.
- Communicate with Operations Support Manager regarding issue status and updates.

Qualification and Certification:
(limited to professional and relevant experience as specified in the job ad details)
Critical:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Advantageous:
Relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience
Years of Experience
Minimum: 2 years
Maximum: 5 years
Professional Expertise
Critical:
Experience in technical support or IT operations, with proficiency in troubleshooting various technical issues, including but not limited to server failures, switch malfunctions, and memory or CPU usage discrepancies.
Advantageous:
The role further demands 1 - 2 years' experience in a Team Leader (not management) role within an operations department.

Requirements
Demonstrated leadership and strategic vision in the designated domain. Proven track record working with Senior Managers and Executives, exhibiting composure, credibility, and technical acumen. Familiarity with Command Centre and major incident management functions. Strong skills in establishing and managing operational procedures. Analytical skills with the ability to coordinate relationships of various IT technologies for effective business service delivery. Detail-oriented, capable of driving change to promote order, control, and consistency in an Operations environment. Excellent written and oral communication proficiency in English
