Duties include, but not limited to:

Branch Duties:

  • Manage sales, installation, administration, and support staff, liaising with each and arranging meetings to ensure smooth operations
  • Oversee all sales and marketing functions, including setting budgets and targets and monitoring progress to result in sales and installations lead to invoicing and payment
  • Oversee all product orders to ensure accuracy, timeous delivery, and correct installation, to customer's specifications to result in quick turnaround times, installations and invoicing
  • Oversee and manage the installation team to ensure good installation practices, installation housekeeping, and communication with customers before, during and after installation to ensure customer satisfaction
  • To address any complaints, resolve issues, and drive customer satisfaction
  • Ensure branch operation efficiency, keeping adhering to budgets and targets to ensure profitability
  • Manage HR and IR and all staff matters including overseeing payrolls and incentive payments
  • To manage branch displays, housekeeping, stock management, showrooms and promote a welcoming environment for staff and customers alike
  • Ensure all staff undertake ongoing product and procedure training to best promote product offering and assist clients in making the correct choice
  • Maintain branch efficiency, communication and safety
  • Liaise with sales, installation, sales support and administration staff to ensure smooth flow of work
  • Oversee the accounting department to ensure invoicing and debt collecting are done within acceptable timeframes
  • Monitoring customer service levels, conducting followups and site visits thereby ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of installation teams
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties, such as generating and distributing memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms etc, as required
  • Maintain client databases; ensuring accuracy, track accounts; oversee the invoice workflow and assist in copying and distributing production orders/notices and other internal documents as requested
  • Provide monthly sales and installation reports, financial reports, KPI reports and budgets to head office
  • Communicate overtime and leave requirements of employees to head office payroll
  • Conduct all Branch, Sales, Administration, Financial, Installations, Customer Service and staff management duties to ensure the profitable operation of the branch and maintain reporting to head office
  • Project management tasks as projects arise
  • Advertising, marketing, business development and key accounts management within the industries served
  • Exhibit leadership behaviour in branch management, staff motivation, guidance, and management, communication at all levels, planning, and organisation of branch activities, goals and outputs, regular followups with commercial and domestic clients, staff and head office, taking initiative and ensuring constant lead generation, sales opportunities, business promotion, and successful transactions
  • Lead and manage a successful, motivated, effective, and profitable sales, installation, sales support, administration, and installation team to ensure the profitability and success of the branch
B.Com, MBA, or extensive experience in accounting and cashflow management. Previous experience in retail management in the technical, hardware, or home improvement sectors an advantage.
