Our Client is the industry-leading digital marketing agency serving American and Canadian optometric practices. We are a virtual company, employing a global team of Web Development, SEO, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support experts.

We are looking to hire an energetic, efficient, and creative Content Strategist to bring our client's content strategy for our clients to life.

You will work on the service delivery team and create and lead our content strategy for our clients. Currently, the client base is in the US, and Canada, and has now branched out into Australia. At present employees are based in Brazil, SA, and Israel. Flexibility to work from 15:00 pm to 23:00 pm South African time, Mondays to Fridays.

Your day-to-day:

Design workflow system for the production of content for new client websites
Determine what content clients should get based on the price level
Deliver a strategy for moving current clients from syndicated content to another form of content. Create a workflow for that system.
Manage content writers from assignment to completed work
Manage the budget for content writers and financial allocation
Create a system to get unique content for our clients
Determine what staff is needed and participate in the hiring
Work within the service delivery team
Job Requirements
5+ years of experience as a copywriter
3+ years of experience managing a team
Expert in SEO
Experience working with AI apps
Ability to use storytelling to convey the message via the content teams (e.g. writers, editors, UX designers).
Background working in an agency - must
3+ years of experience working with Social media.
Data analysis skills to analyze the content
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate ideas
Knowledge of building links.
Flexibility to work from 15:00 pm to 23:00 pm South African time, Mondays to Fridays
Able to work remotely and be prepared for any load shedding that may occur
