We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Internal Sales Administrator to join a well-established business in Midrand. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of internal sales processes.

Responsibilities :

Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Customer Communication: Liaise with customers via phone, email, and in-person to address inquiries, provide product information, and assist with order-related issues.
Quoting and Pricing: Generate price quotes for customers based on their requirements and negotiate pricing when necessary.
Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, updating customer databases, and coordinating sales meetings.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels for customer orders.
Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
Sales Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing sales-related documentation.
Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations in all sales activities.

Minimum job requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of sales principles
