We are recruiting for an Operational Manager focusing on Warehouse Management and Stock Management.

If you have a keen interest and passion for ensuring the smooth running of a warehouse, where you will take charge of the entire process and that will see you reporting directly to the CEO, then this position will be of interest to you.

This position will see you working alongside the Financial Manager and CEO and will include but not be limited to, the following:
Ensure the smooth-running of operations from receiving product right through to dispatching

Oversee the use of Warehouse Management Software (WMS) Fenya

Planning and managing workload by correctly delegating work

Managing the warehouse's daily functions including handling and resolving unexpected change

This will include assisting staff in adapting to the changes required

Ensuring timely and accurate service delivery (resolving logístical problems quickly)

A part of your job will include customer care (ensure products are transported in prestige conditions)

Implementing effective stock-take measures

Conducting these stock-take measures on a routine basis

Purchasing of materials required

Identify and develop methods that promote efficient and effective use of resources

Ensure that operations are carried out in an appropriate cost-effective way

Skills & Experience:

Exceptional understanding of warehouse operations

An ability to implement effective and cost-saving methods.

Warehouse planning and layout will be seen as advantageous

Solid background experience in operating procedures

Effective leadership and the ability to upskill and affect change in staff

Implementing processes and procedures and ensuring adherence hereto

Qualification:

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse and stock management

Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in an operational manager position

Minimum 2 to 3 years of management experience

National diploma/degree in logistics, supply chain, production management or engineering
