The Role

The Jnr Rates Clerk's role is responsible for providing accurate capturing to ease money collected.

  • Loading of new customers contracts, addendums and renewals on RTM system in the time frame allocated
  • Excel rate comparison are done on a daily/weekly bases to verify that billing is correct as per the contract
  • Work closely with Sales Reps to ensure that all outstanding paperwork is handed in
  • Inform Debtors of all contract changes and corrections done
  • Filing of all hard copies done daily
  • All contracts & additional paperwork are scanned on a central portal system daily
  • Assist Invoicing department with Rates errors daily
  • Assist Debtors department with Rates queries daily
  • Liaising with customers, and various other departments on a daily basis
  • Assist with Quotations when necessary
  • Assist management as and when required
