Our Platinum business mines, processes, and refines the entire range of platinum group metals (PGMs): platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium, and osmium.


Job Description:

  • As the HR Advisor will work closely with Manager HR Corporate Office to make defined policies and standards come alive in the context of Anglo-American Platinum's strategy and operating environment.

In this role your responsibility will include:

  • Support PMC and Heads of functions with labour planning
  • Support the implementation of Talent sourcing plans through recruitment
  • Facilitate the recruitment process, onboarding and exits
  • Manage a seamless employee life cycle processes in line with the company values
  • Support talent management processes and strategies and their implementation i.e., Succession Planning, CDP's
  • Partner with line managers to gain insights and understand how to provide better support

This role is in the Human Resources department on a Band 6 and reporting to the HR Manager.
**Qualifications

  • You will be required to have**:
  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree within HR or related (NQF Level 7)

Experience:

years' experience in HR Generalist function

  • Extensive ER experience required
  • Proficient with HR Systems including BPC
  • Extensive proficiency with Talent Management implementation
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with interpreting and understanding of SA transformation legislation
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills
  • Good understanding of diversity and inclusion
  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with organising and planning skills
  • Proficient in planning and coordination skills
  • Proficient in persuasion and conflict management skills
  • Good understanding of SA cultural diversity and their impact in the work environment
  • Proficient in reporting skills including numeracy
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Additional Information
  • Valid driver's license
