RESPONSIBILITIES:

(This list is not exhaustive)

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Research content for social media platforms. This includes keeping abreast of new happenings in each area they service. For example, new restaurant openings, new shops etc
  • Design eye catching content for posts & stories.
  • Able to design and caption strategically for each Social Media Platform
  • Excellent knowledge and ability to service SEO for their website
  • Execute Google paid advertising
  • Edit and post podcasts strategically for each Social Media platform
  • Create newsletters
  • Stay on top of the post schedule per day.
  • Develop, implement, and manage their social media strategy.
  • Manage and oversee social media content over all platforms.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, and Canva.
  • Research what the competition is doing and report back to management when necessary.
  • Provide constructive feedback.
  • Adhere to rules and regulations.
  • Create paid campaigns over Facebook Ads and Boosted posts in the local area.
  • Gain organic reach by sharing with local groups and interacting with the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY SKILLS:

  • 5 + years of experience as a Digital Marketing Associate or similar role in an Agency
  • Experience in designing content on Adobe, Canva or other software.(Design)
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
  • Excellent grasp of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Critical thinker and problemsolving skills.
  • Good timemanagement skills.
  • Ability to take the digital services to the next level

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Own computer or laptop.
  • ADSL/ FIBRE internet line with a minimum of 50 Mbps.
  • Headphones for use with our VOIP phone system.
  • Antivirus installed.
  • UPS/ Backup battery for load shedding.

WORKING HOURS:

09:00 - 13:00 UK Time

Job Types:
Half-time, Permanent

R10 000,00 per month
