We are looking for someone who is passionate about people and extends past call and query management to understanding and managing the client experience.

The successful candidate needs to have a strong knowledge of the SA asset management industry, its legislation, products and have had exposure to Retail distribution.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage the ongoing technical training of the Retail Client Service teamManage the Private Client offeringPrepare internal/ external communications for review and manage their executionManage certain key initiatives within the teamThought leadership on how to make Unit Trust investment more accessible and appealing for direct clientsFirst escalation point for technical queries and complaintsReview of forms and correspondence prior to significant changesAbility to assist on system upgrades and regulatory changesAbility to meet with Clients and host events when requiredProvide team back up on Client queries (calls and emails) when requiredQuality Assessment reviews of Client interactionsRetail Client Services reporting (this will include lead potential client and new business online application reports)Develop target lists for marketing communicationsQualifications, Skills & ExperienceAn appropriate tertiary education (required)5+ years' experience in Asset ManagementA good overall understanding of the investment industry and financial instrumentsFinancial Services experience specifically Asset Management, Retirement Funds and Unit TrustsKnowledge on current Financial Markets and macro-economic events affecting Financial MarketsContact Centre experience within Financial ServicesHigh level of computer literacyMicrosoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)Good verbal and written communication skills with clients, internal business units and service providersExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levelsStrong ownership and accountabilityProblem solving and solution orientatedSelf-motivated with high levels of initiativeA team player that relates with both internal and external stakeholdersAnalytical skillsAbility to follow throughApplication form I would like to apply for this position
