  • Ensure that all company policies, procedures & SOPs are adhered to
  • Ensure effective communication through attending meetings & imparting information at regularly held staff meetings
  • Plan, direct & control the department, roster staff
  • Supervise staff effectively
  • Identify training needs & implement training when required
  • Effective control of sales & all beverage stock by working closely with F&B Controller
  • Knows menu items, daily specials & seasonal foods & ensures that departments are aware too
  • Ensures that uniform standards are adhered to & staff are well groomed
  • Liaise with kitchen regarding changes & passes info to F&B staff
  • Ensures tables are set in accordance with company standards
  • Maintains excellent & courteous relationships with guests & ensure that guest complains/requests are managed timeously
  • Ensure that bills are correctly compiled & presented to guests
  • Exhibits good personal deportment, appearance & attitude in a manner that will enhance guests experience & satisfaction
