Job Purpose:


  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to support decision making and planning.
  • Implement Master Data Management and event-driven reporting, focusing on forecasting.
  • Lead the migration of the Data Warehouse to the cloud.
  • Develop the Business Intelligence team and shape the future strategy at Rhino Africa.

About the team:
  • The Technology department includes Business Intelligence, Engineering, Data Quality, and Salesforce.
  • Our Business Intelligence team consists of Analytics and Development professionals.

Our team's tech stack includes:
Tableau, MySQl, Talend, Pentaho, Jenkins, Salesforce, Google Sheets, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and guide the Business Intelligence team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of BI reports and insights.
  • Design operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting for various business teams.
  • Analyze sales pipeline, internal processes, and productivity.
  • Implement Master Data Management and data quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering for Data Warehouse migration.
  • Develop event-driven reporting for real-time insights.
  • Drive forecasting models for business planning.
  • Maintain data architecture aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure data governance and privacy standards.
  • Support data quality enhancements and integrity.
  • Manage team recruitment, onboarding, and performance.
  • Coordinate external BI service providers and consultants.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay updated on BI trends and advancements.

Requirements:
  • BA/Bcom/BsC in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business.
  • Minimum 6 years of BI experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in leading BI teams and delivering results.
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management and data governance.
  • Experience with event-driven reporting.
