We are currently looking for someone to join us on a 6 month contract for a Head of Funding Role.

Responsibilities:

The Head of Funding Role is principal level role, and reports into Head of Funding and Liquidity Risk.

The roles and responsibilities include:

  • Set the funding strategy
  • Ensuring a well diversified and cost effective funding base
  • Ensuring that the funding strategy enables compliance with internal and regulatory risk appetite and regulatory metrics including Basel 3 LCR and NSFR
  • Suitably calibrating the evolving liquid asset investment targets to ensure LCR risk appetite is achieved
  • Evolving the early warning indicator framework to provide timely management guidance relating to a possible liquidity stress situation
  • Regular engagement across key businesses to understand the implications of business balance sheet activity and regulatory liquidity ratios
  • Input into new product approvals and structured trade reviews to support prudent liquidity risk change management
  • The role is required to integrate and collaborate with business during the funding planning process and to influence business to ensure the planning supports the funding strategy
  • This role is also required to provide specialist advice to various areas, ensuring the optimal utilisation of funding, as well as the cost of funding and setting and monitoring funding hurdles
  • This role is critical in the identification, monitoring and management of funding and liquidity risk, which form part of the Treasury principal risk in the ERMF

The role has 3 people reporting into it, two AVP and one VP
