Overall purpose of the job:

The overall purpose of this position would be related to the technical project and service delivery as well as the technical administrational functions around a consistent service experience in line with customer expectations for the region.

The incumbent is accountable for the optimal management of all human and financial resources to ensure achievement of agreed targets.

The incumbent will operate within the commercial organisation matrix structure and must leverage and collaborate with the various role players to ensure set objectives are achieved.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for the Technical resources and structure within the KZN branch to support the various contracts from an administrative and financial profit and loss.
  • Manage Team leaders in each of the teams delivering either Project installation services or Support and Maintenance services for the region.
  • Ensure that Project and Support SHEQ requirements in terms of standard legislative requirements are adhered to at all times.
  • Manage the forecasting of billings and revenue and have responsibility for delivery of entire forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis as per agreed KPI targets. This responsibility is to be carried out with the support of the Team leaders for service delivery in the region.
  • Manage the monthly billing requirement and cost to serve our customers in terms of Working Capital requirements and ensure that the unbilled revenue maintained in line with agreed KPI targets.
  • General staff and administration functions in the Western Cape Branch relating to stock, subcontractors, invoicing and overhead costs management.
  • Ensure that Contractual obligations understood and executed to safeguard revenue expectations from our customers.
  • Ensure staff productivity and efficiencies with the required reporting and monitoring tools and continuously drive for improvement.
  • Ensure all staff are sufficiently trained and competent in order to carry out work in accordance with company standards, health and safety legislation in accordance with a staff grading system.
  • Responsible for collaborative company costings and annual increases with the help of management team.
  • Work closely together with Regional Sales team to ensure accurate costing models for technical installation and support, product matrixes and certification requirements around products offered.
  • Work close together with regional stores personnel to ensure sufficient stock levels available to service our contractual obligations.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Matric and Code 08 driver's license.
  • Management certification (MDP or similar)
  • Basic financial course to understand financial terms and manage P&LPC literacy courses (MS Office) or certifications.
  • PSIRA registered
  • Electronic Security Equipment portfolio of evidence in CCTV, Offsite monitoring, Access Control, Building Management Solutions, Perimeter detection and Retail Security Solutions (Sensormatic EAS, RFID Solutions, Occupancy)
