Reporting to the Global Head of SF&I, the Global Manager for Financial Planning and Analysis "FP&A"

will work closely with Financial Analysts, Financial Managers, and senior leadership from various Dentons Regions to monitor performance and increase operational efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both medium and long-term financial and operational plans.

The role is both operational and project based with the individual assisting in the delivery of key initiatives, ranging from developing and deploying technical solutions, supporting transformational projects, and taking the initiative to identify areas for improvement in current processes and drive forward change.

Requirements
  • Leading the delivery of combined financial results and key performance indicators for Dentons on a global basis
  • Collecting information for the Global Budget process, consolidating budget data, and preparing reports
  • Undertake special projects as agreed with the SF&I from time-to-time
  • Develop granular understanding of Dentons GAAP and the different Dentons Regions accounting standards
  • Develop a minimum set of financial standards to improve global reporting
  • Actively engage with all Dentons Regions to learn about profitability enhancement measures
  • Support SF&I in driving forward efficiency within the function
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
  • Experience at a Big 4 firm, and for the individual to be a qualified accountant
  • Advanced computer software skills, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with PowerBI would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
  • High level of financial and commercial experience within a professional services firm
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, able to think creatively and deliver non-orthodox solutions to complex problems
  • High level of commercial acumen

The individual should be comfortable working independently and remote to their team members. The role is global, with team members based across the globe and will require adjusting working pattern to different time zones. This role is mainly remote with access to local Dentons offices.
